

Deborah E. R. Hanan received her doctorate in communication in 2011 from the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism in Los Angeles, CA (USA), where she was both a USC Provost Fellow and a CSU Chancellor's Teaching Fellow. She also holds an M.A. in communication from USC Annenberg (2007) and a special Interdisciplinary M.A. in American Cultural Studies (across the disciplines of communication studies, film/television, history, and cultural anthropology) from California State University Los Angeles (2004).
